Our Vision
- To enhance the experience of Swaminarayan Hindus of a major object
of religious veneration
- To help educate young followers of Swaminarayan in their customs
and culture
- To educate the wider community of multicultural Britain about the
breadth of what 'Britishness' is in the 21st Century
Key Aims & Objectives
The main aim of the project is to digitise the Indian Institute's Shikshapatri
manuscript, one of the great historical treasures of British Hinduism, and a
wide range of supporting materials, and make these available in an interactive
multimedia format for use by a wide range of individuals and institutions.
