Official launch of the Digital Shikshapatri

Saturday 24th January 2004, Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford

The official public launch of the Digital Shikshapatri Project was held on Saturday 24th January 2004 at the University of Oxford. Around 50 people gathered in the Library Wing Seminar Room of Queen Elizabeth House, including the Oxford project team and representatives from Swaminarayan Hindu temples who contributed to the project with advice and materials which ranged from translations of the manuscript, to music and video footage. Swamis were also in attendance and had Darshan with copies of the Bodleian manuscript.
